I read Information Literacy and i belive the main point of the writing was to tell people that most people are illiterate when it comes to finding good resources and how to pick the bad ones from the good ones. In the book he talked about how getting books from the library is a lot better than getting it from the internet.Because you dont know who wrote or published.In the library it says the author year, when it was published and everything you need to know.The author sounds like he does not like the internet to much
The author has some very detailed support, for example he talks about how to better yourself when you are trying to find good resources and what to look for. He says to look for the author and make sure it was actually written by a professional and not some stupid person writing like its a blog.Also to make sure your information is up to date and your not looking up old news
I would have to agree with the author, because i dont like to use the internet for information. There is so much to look for to make sure it is accurate and right. If i want info about and author or a really big subject i would go to the library because everything is written by a professional and they are really good resources

recommendation

I just finished my paper and my research paper was a bout capital punishment and how it should stay but there could be some changes made. If i had to recommend something about the death penalty it would have to be that only people who rape kill torture and other serious crimes like that should be punishable by death and they should at least ten years just top make sure there is no mistake and i would make a law that the punishment for the death penalty be all painless so no more firing squad or hanging

Research paper

My research paper is going to be about if the death penalty should stay or go.In my opinion i think it should stay because some people just deserve it.If we got rid of the death penalty the people would just be sitting there rotting in jaila nd who knows maybe they want to die.then theres the fact that all he prisons would fill up quick and tax payers would have to pay for new prisons to be built.And i think that some people just deserve what they get like the child rapist and murders.Once theve done something like that they give over the will to their life to the government.So im all for it baby!

media coverage

I dont belive the media coverage is really that necessary because they cover every little move they make the good stuff they do is ok news but as soon as something goes bad like drugs and drinking the media is all over it and i dont care about that kind of stuff they should cover more news on not about the lives of the rich and famous cover good stuff not the bad stuff.Whenever they cover something about the poloticians its something stupid they said or did and im my opinion who cares there human beings they make mistakes

Movie Review

I did My review on "The Christmas Story" This movie is a classic and every Christmas they play it on TBS for 24 hours straight.Ebert talks about how the movie revolves around being a little kid because in the movie they have bullys and bars of soap put in the mouth and how the little kid ralphie want a bebe gun and his parents tell him no because the famous phrase "You'll shouut your eye out".Its a comedy with real life situations. But the movie is so old that none of those kinds of things happen any more and no family really lives like that anymore.Ebert thought it was a good movie and i would have to agre with him i watch it every christmas and i love it

Argument

A lot of people dont have the money or time to get a degree that makes a lot of money fast.That is why i beleive that the nursing degree at baker college is the best way to go. To get a nursing degree at baker it only takes 2 years. Nurses can make anywhere from 20-40 dollars an hour and get benefits such as health and dental.In the nursing feild a person will always have a job because there will always be people getting sick and hurt.jobs are hard to come by these days, dont you want to make sure that you will always have a job?

Popular culture

Popular culture is everywhere and some of it is good , and some of it is bad. I believe popular culture is what the "in" thing is for the moment. For example, what cloths are in style and what cool things people are doing. One popular culture fad that has caught on quick is exporting products to other countries, and importing from other countries. The U.S. has many exports because Americans make good products for low prices. The U.S. imports tons of unhealthy foods from everywhere, everyday. Americans eat up all this bad food, then compain that they are fat but its the consumers fault. The only reason we buy all this bad food is because its what everyone else is buying and eating. Obese consumers cannot blame anyone else but themselves for eating so much. No one made them buy the food and eat it. The U.S. keeps buying the food because it sells good, healthy foods would not sell as well.

Claim=People in the U.S. are fat because of the bad food the U.S imports.
